Cucumber soaps with a splash of mint:

Smells good. I have a hard time getting a good picture of the swirls, though.
New batch of Cucumber Melon soap. I layered these, and planned for the color to come out with just a hint of color. Yeah, well, hint my bootie!!

This is one of my favorite (do I say that about them all?) soaps. It is a mint patchouli and it smells divine. If you don't like patchouli, you just gotta smell it to believe it.

Another batch of Nag Champa soap. Click any of the pictures below for a larger veiw.

More soaps!! This batch is an Oatmeal Milk and Honey (it contains all three). No scent, no color.

I've been craving Fall so much, and finally just gave in. I made my Pumpkin Pie soaps, with real pumpkin puree. Here is the log:

They smell spicy and pumpkiny...mmm. Can you hear me chanting, "Fall, Fall, Fall..." yet?
Here's some Patchouli soaps I made:
Cut into bars:

And then I made some Patchouli/Lavender ones for myself:

Some soap I made yesterday. I finally cut them this morning - what a treat to wake up to!! I love unmolding and cutting soaps.

They need a few weeks to cure, though, but they smell great.
Oooh - directions to make a latex soap mold.
I made a step-by-step page for making Melt and Pour Chunk Soap instructions. Here's the finished product:

No go make some, and lemme see how they turn out!!
Another late night of soaping. Frank helped this time, fetching me things I needed and aided in picking out a scent: Nag Champa.
In the wee hours of the morning, I made some cold processed soap, scented Yuzu. They top is purple (with glitter), and the bottom is swirled with blue. It was supposed to be darker, but live and learn. The color doesn't show up very well in these pictures, either, unfortunately.
Here are the loaves (they were a little stubborn coming out):

They smell fantastic; I can't wait to use some, but... they need to cure.
I'm testing a new log mold of mine. My dad whipped on up for me, and I have been dying to break it in. Apparently, it's bigger than I thought. I made a bit ol' batch and it filled it to the top, with only a little to spare.
From now on, I'll have to make smaller batches and fill it only part way, I think. Or - better yet - dad can make me another mold!! Oh-la-la.
Anyway, here's some vanilla soap that's still in a log. I made a booboo and took it out of the mold a little early and had to let it sit longer before cutting.

After setting up, it was finally time to cut into bars - which is my favorite part.
I had a lot leftover in odds and ends (will make nice samples). I can't wait to see how these look after curing. They smell yummy.
