I was cleaning out my daughter's closet and found a mountain of old blue jeans. Most of them were in good enough condition to take to the free clothing center to drop off, but a couple were pretty trashed.
So, I googled blue jeans crafts. Found this and made a pocket magnet. I did nothing fancy with it, and stuffed some recipe cards that had no home in it.
Man, I wish I were able to do some quilting. With all the kids growing out of clothes, and some of them being absolutely unusable, it would be nice to be able to keep swatches and make a big blanket. Maybe I'll just keep the swatches and try to force my mommy to make a quilt for me out of them. Now there's an idea!!

I found a moon mirror at a local thrift shop. It was worn and in need of a little paint, so I spruced it up for my daughter's room. I have no idea why the thumnails look like crap!!
There's some rusting in the creases in the before picture. The original color is not bad, but I want to make it my own. I mixed a blue with glitter paint and extra glitter, and dabbed with the brush to create a little texure.
Bear with me, my monitor is going kaput, so there's 2 pictures (lightened in photo editor). The one on the L. reflects my son's fork. He was eating waffles and decided the fork needed to be in the picture. The one on the R. is hanging in my daughter's room
