Well this Boo Boo looks super easy, and pretty cute, too.
.
So, being that it is getting close to the Holidays, I was looking for some simple gifts in a jar recipes. Here's some I found useful:

Seriously, a few years ago, I would have probably puked upon receiving one of these. But I'm older and appreciate them more.

I made some Dishtowel Angels. You use a washcloth/finger towel, a dish towel, and a potholder and whip them together (see link) to make an angel.
If you don't have the time or patience (they're easy and kind of fun, once you get going), you ca buy one at my store.
I got some supplies and made some sticks. The "hardest" thing about it, is having p-a-t-i-e-n-c-e. Other than that, it's a snap.
Weeee!! I opened my own little candle and soap store. There's not a whole heck of a lot there, but hopefully there will be more soon.
I swear, my butt and my wrists ache from sitting here, trying to get things right. Sheesh.
For those of you who use Yahoo Messenger and like skins, I made a little knit-skin for my messenger. It's the first one I've ever made, so it's nothing fancy. But, I thought I would share it here. This is a screenshot:
And you can download it here. (zip file)
I made this about a week ago. It only consisted of adding some paint and some hangers to the back. At first I was pretty unhappy with it. The lines and heart are not centered (remember this is immpulsive work, here - not perfect). But I bought the wood thing from Wal-mart over a month ago and really needed to just get the darn thing done. Now that it's been hanging on my wall for a bit, I'm growing happier with it.
This is my Martha Stewart Hangie-Thing (it's called a "catch-all" in the magazine. It was super easy to make, and turned out to look pretty sharp. The twins even helped me paint the wooden spools.
Last friday we had a semi-impromptu party for my "graduating" 5th grader. I tried to make things look as nice as possible, considering I had little money and little time. So, after emptying this box, I just taped some daisy stationary onto it and used a pair of funky scissors to trim the edges to look nicer. It really prettied up the tables, which were covered with purple sheets. It was cheap and easy.
Neat-o. Print your own stationary from the Graphic Garden. I just printed out some cute hedgehog stationary. I love sending letters to people and have a drawerfull of stationary. This is really neat!!
