I'll be the first to admit that John and I were pretty sure she'd never be found alive. It is always nice when something happens to prove me wrong in this case. I can't imagine the pain of those who's children never return, but it is truely a blessing Elizabeth is able to.
i was on holiday in america last summer and i read up about elizabeth's kidnap. Im the same age as she is and i am so pleased that she stayed strong and was lucky to be returned unharmed. Its no less of a miracle.

Last night i watched "The Elizabeth Smart Story", and it was one of the sadest thing ive ever seen. I dont know how u did it Elizabeth, but that was very courageous!!
i just dont understand what kind of serious drugs sombody has to be on to think god would of wanted emmanual to do something like that gravehydro aka darrell rude
i am so glad that elizebeth is ok im 14 and probly wouldn't have handled myself as well as her i would have probly tried harder and harder to escape we love you liz im out
