Happy Meals for Adults | Main | Printable Math Game May 17, 2004Colonial HouseDoes anyone remember Frontier House? Well, PBS now had Colonial House, and it debuts tonight. I loved Frontier House. Cool thing is that there's no commercials and they air pretty frequently. No waiting around for the next week. There's 2 showings tonight one at 7 and then again at 9.

I watched it last night. I love the PBS houses! My favorite was 1930's house, set in WWII England.

I never knew there was a 1930's :( I watched last nights twice cause I missed parts the first time around. That old fart guy drives me up the wall and his wife sligtly, they got into thier roles just too easily. I don't think I could ever make someone my servant...that is one step above being a slave and I just couldn't do that to anyone.

This is off subject but ...Did anyone watch the show Oprah had on just recently..? It was about living in colonial times or something like that... It was odd to see one of the richest woman in the world sitting down to a dinner covered in flies...

I watched that Oprah, it was to promote Colonial house. I thought it was funny, the richest woman, getting instructions on how to take a crap in the woods.
And the old fart guy and his nosey wife drive me up the wall!!

I love these shows. The one who drives me crazy is the woman who doesn't believe in God griping about going to the mandatory church services. You signed up (no one recruited you!) to represent people who fled looking for religious freedom, what exactly did she expect?

She is slowly grating on my nerves, yeeesh last thing I wanted to see was her and her man in the buff eeeeyuck. I am sorry when my kids are 11 I won't be walking around with my man naked in front of them.

I am loving Colonial House! Did anyone see 1900 House? It was to celebrate the millenium. They took a house in London, stripped it to what it would have been like in 1900, and had a family move in. I really felt for the Mom. Even with the household help, producing a meal took ALL DAY! Makes me appreciate my crock pot!
