Earthquake in Midwest

A brief earthquake struck the Midwest early Monday, rattling windows and awakening sleeping residents from Wisconsin and south to Missouri and from southwest Michigan and Indiana west to Iowa. [link]

How crazy is that? My husband has always told me we were on a fault line (we're in Wisconsin). Wah. I thought we only had to worry about tornados.

Sugar Free Blueberry Bran Muffins

I made these Sugar Free Blueberry Bran Muffins tonight and they were a hit with the majority of the family. I think I would cut back on the blueberries next time, but other than that - very yummy.

Shrek 2

We were out of town for the weekend at my parent's cabin, and since it was kind of rainy, we decided to see Shrek 2. I've been dying to see it since it came out, but didn't want to sit in a room full of people.

Small town, lots of rain... packed movie theatre. In fact, we had to purchase tickets for the next show, since the one we wanted to go to was sold out. Go figure.

We had to sit up front (which I hate), but all was good. The movie was funny, only further deepening my love for dear Donkey. I'd go again today, if I was made of money.
