Well, I'm Saddam? That's just great. Jease. I hardly wanna post my result now.
OK, I think I found what I want for Christmas. Ooh-la-la. A drying rack for my soaps!! Yes, yes. Right now I use a wicker shelf thingy that I got at a garage store. It is very nice, but I have quickly outgrown it. This puppy would take a while to outgrow.
So, what are you hoping for for Christmas? Usually I don't get anything, or my husband and I don't exchange gifts. I'd like maybe a book or something.
The kids are starting to circle things in magazines and show me pictures of things online. My son wanted this Real Madrid hat:

Actually I got it for him for his birthday, which is right before Christmas. He showed me that had 3 times and that's when I figured he really wanted it, so I broke down and got it. My daughter, though is constantly changing her dang mind about what she wants and it is driving me insane!! The three youngest just want to open something.
Man oh man. This morning I heard about the hunters killed in Wisconsin.
A deer hunter trespassing in a private hunting stand opened fire on a group of Wisconsin hunters after being told to leave, resulting in one of the deadliest sprees in the state's history, police said Monday.
Hits close to home, since I'm in Wisconsin. My husband is thinking that they'll probably have him (the shooter) out at his work, since talk around town is that he's a bit... touched. We'll see.
I feel terrible for the victim's families, though.
Is it just me, or is Google down? Went to check my gmail and that's down, too. Arghh. Didn't realize how much I love me some google and gmail. I hope it is up soon.
Somehow I misplaced (or lost) the recipe to my cornbread I always make. Everyone loved that cornbread, but I can't find the recipe. 'Thought I put it in Mastercook, but no. I thought I had it in my recipe binder. Nut-uh. So, I'm trying out this one. Hope it is good. We always have cornbread with our chili.
David Lee Roth a NYC Paramedic. That sound a little scary, doesn't it?
Also, there was a stabbing at the Vibe awards last night. Dr. Dre is rumored to have been involved. Good gracious people, get it together. Give an idiot money and fame and they're still an idiot.
Scott Peterson Convicted of Murdering Wife...
Oh what will the newscasters talk about now?
This was a book I wanted to read and read - but it was so short. Lily's mother is dead, her father is a jerk and her nanny/mother-figure has been put in jail. Lily breaks her out and runs away, ending up in a home with a trio of sisters.
It was about mothers, sisters and friendship. I thoroughly enjoyed Lily and the characters around her, their relationships and the story.
I would recommend this book and would maybe read it again.

I don't know if you've heard, but starting Jan 1, 2001 there's a new federal law that says you will no longer be able use a cell phone while driving unless you have a "hands free" adapter!!
I went to Circuit City and they wanted $35 for it. I have managed to get hold of some "off brand" units and was wondering if anyone is interested.
These kits are compatible with any mobile phone and one size fits all. I'll give them to you for $3 each. If you'd like to see a picture (they are COOL), click here.
OK, so it is a joke. I saw it on a forum I frequent, and then on snopes.com.
Peterson jury shows signs of discord. Could it be a hung jury? I haven't been following this too well, honestly. Although it is hard to completely ignore it, since it is all over the news. My mother-in-law actually has her cell phone set to deliver the verdict to her as soon as it comes in. She could tell you all about the case, in fact.
Is there anyone who seriously thinks Scott Peterson is an innocent man? Anyone?
A good friend borrowed me this book and I really enjoyed it. It is about an Amish teen that is accused of murdering her newborn baby, and Ellie, her slick city lawyer. Ellie has to stay with Katie at all times, living among the Amish.
There are a lot of layers to the book and a surprise ending that I did not see coming (I thought I had my suspect nailed), with the clues along the way. The plot twists and the complex characters kept me guessing.
I like Picoult's style of writing and really got into the story. I felt like I knew the characters and found myself thinking of them after I had finished the book.
It is worth a re-read.

Elections are over, and from what I hear right now (10:08am), Kerry is calling Bush to concede. This coming from the Associated Press.
I'm wondering what, if any, the backlash of the results of this election will be. I'm not talking about what Bush will do in the next 4 years, but how Kerry supporters (and those who do not like Bush) will handle the results of this election.
People were so passionate about this election and the two men running for office.
