Interesing. Did you notice Google Talk? It is like, well, I guess a messenger system for people who have Gmail. It will be interesting to see how it goes. I suppose they could reach more people if you didn't have to have gmail to use it, but looks like that is in the works.
Now I just have to find someone to test it out with me.
CNN.com - 'Goal!' aims to score in U.S.
Cool. I'm all for another soccer movie. We loved Bend It Like Beckham and oh - I want to see that movie Kicking & Screaming
(is that out yet - I don't know). Huge Will Farrell fan here.
With four kids in soccer it is always fun to see things that are soccer related. In America it is easy to find football this, football that.
I had a bunch of bananas that were getting mushy, and it being nice and cool out - I decided to make banana bread. I have a recipe I normally use, but decided to try something different. I did a google search and came up with this one.
It looked different enough from my standard recipe, so why not?

A friend told me that "real" banana bread cracks on top. This one did. It tastes very good, and is really moist - but it is almost too sweet. I like mine sweet, but not cake sweet and that's how this was. I did use vanilla yogurt instead of plain so that may have contributed to part of the problem. It is more of a dessert bread I guess.
I know I'm kind of a dork because I am looking forward to the premiere of Breaking Bonaduce. It's the new reality show featuring Danny Bonaduce and his family. Yeah. I'm not like a huge fan of his, and actually find him somewhat annoying, but maybe that's what attracts me to wanting to watch the show? How sick is that? He's kind of a drama queen, so that will probably make for good reality TV.

Let's talk beautiful bracelets, shall we? Good then. I have in my possession custom-made bracelets direct from the Trinket Trunk. I'll be honest in telling I know nothing about beads, beading or any of that, but I do know a nice piece of jewelry when I have one in my hand, and that's what these are.
The bracelets I have are from Bonnie and Suzanne. I specified the colors of the ones Bonnie sent, and let her do her thang. Suzanne did her own creative thang without any guidance from me and both did a fantastic job.
The bracelets fit perfect and are absolutely gorgeous. The worst thing, though is that I was tempted to buy a Lanyard and I have absolutely NO use for them. But they are just too cute to pass up!!
I highly suggest you check them out, and their guest designers, especially with Christmas coming up. These would make a nice gift for anyone, child to adult. You can even get gift boxes.
Bottom Line: Fantastic handmade jewelry at a very reasonable price.

I found the link to this Booga Bag on a forum I frequent. Wanted to bookmark it quick before I forgot all about it. I kind of doubt my limited knitting skills could make one, but hey - I could give it a try.
Interesting contrasts, the Yahoo Looting vs. Finding photos. Says snopes article:
The Associated Press has separately captioned two photos of looters in the wake of Katrina. The photo of a black man refers to his "looting," and the photo of a white pair refers to their "finding." I would like to know why this happened.
