Why Moms Are Weird

Yay. Pamie's got another book on the way. It is called Why Moms Are Weird. You can read more about it on her site here. I read Why Girls Are Weird way back when and enjoyed that book, so I happily anticipate the next one. Going to go add it to my Wishlist on Paperbackswap and will hopefully get it soon after it comes out. Whoot!!

World Cup Soccer

We've been watching the World Cup daily. It is exciting, like a mini-Olympics without the middle man. Soccer, soccer and more soccer. Great for the enthusiast. Favorite teams around this house are: USA, Brasil, Italy, Mexico. England is fun to watch, too. They all are, really. Nearly every team has a familiar face on it. Joga Bonito baby!!

Tres Leches Cake

For the record, I love tres leches cake. Every Hispanic party we got to has them. We now buy them for our parties. But I'd love to find a recipe and make it myself. IF anyone's got a good one, can you hook a girl up?

Outlander the Movie?

For those that have read the book Outlander... there are potential castmembers posted on the Diana Gabaldon site. I really enjoyed the book and thought it would be an interesting movie. However, I don't know that a movie could ever do the book justice.
