Easy Tortilla Casserole

The other day I was at a loss for a quick dinner. Pulling from prior casseroles I put together one that I thought was going to be horrible but ended up being a keeper. Must document.

2 c. cooked, shredded chicken (approx.)
1/2 c. salsa (that's all I had)
some tortilla chips
cheese
bag of frozen veggies
Ranch dressing

I took the chicken and heated that in a skillet, then added salsa, to heat for another minute or so. Took about 2 handfuls of tortilla chips, crushed them in my hand an lined the bottom of small casserole dish. Poured chicken over that, made another layer of the chips. Poured frozen veggies over (nearly all of 1sm. bag), drizzled Ranch dressing over that (about 1/4 cup), sprinkled with some garlic powder, pinch of salt and pepper, topped with cheese. Put it in the oven @ 350, covered for... I don't know? About 30 minutes, removed top, cooked about 10 more, then let it cool for about 15 minutes (you know you're supposed to do that with casseroles, right).

It was fantastic. Must do again. How 'bout a HUGE picture, hmm?
