Checking Out Books
I checked out some books from the library a week or so ago. I got 2 of the Vogue Knitting on the Go books, hoping to find some chic (but easy) patterns. I put little sticky notes on the pages I wanted to copy off at the copy shop, but then, being the scatter-brain I am, I returned those books along with the rest of my returns. Duh. Anyway, so now I have the books Toddler Knits and Bags and Backpacks, plus Scarves. They are little books, with about 20 or so patterns. I pretty much sticky-noted the ones labeled "Easy" and left it at that. I'd really like to know how to make a drawstring bag, though. And those projects were mostly "intermediate" or "experienced." Ach, someday...I mainly wanted the Toddler Knits back because there's an "easy" pattern for a toddler striped cardigan pullover that I want to try for the twins. At least I have some patterns to use on our trip we'll be taking this week. (As long as I remember to copy the damn things off, of coarse) Long drives allow many hours of knitting and reading. And sleeping. June 19, 2002 |
