Survivor Scarf In Progress

Here's the scarf I'm working on. A friend of mine requested that I make her one about a year ago. I decided to knit this while watching television and it became what I call my "Survivor Scarf" because basically, I knit it while watching Survivor. I started with a k2,p2 pattern, but I get so caught up in the show that I've completely messed the entire pattern up and now it looks like a dog knit it, or something.

There is a 5 inch long strip where it looks like I k2,p1 for a while and then there's big chunks of k thrown in places, too. I'm not so sure if I will be giving away this haphazard work of (art) slop to my friend anymore. I may just keep it as Survivor Scarf memorabilia.
