Vanilla Soaps

I'm testing a new log mold of mine. My dad whipped on up for me, and I have been dying to break it in. Apparently, it's bigger than I thought. I made a bit ol' batch and it filled it to the top, with only a little to spare.

From now on, I'll have to make smaller batches and fill it only part way, I think. Or - better yet - dad can make me another mold!! Oh-la-la.

Anyway, here's some vanilla soap that's still in a log. I made a booboo and took it out of the mold a little early and had to let it sit longer before cutting.

After setting up, it was finally time to cut into bars - which is my favorite part.

I had a lot leftover in odds and ends (will make nice samples). I can't wait to see how these look after curing. They smell yummy.
