Chunky Ribbed Headband
My kids happen to love headbands. I knit one a while back, and since they are into them right now, they've been asking for more. I've made 2 more so far, but can't find the other one right now. Here's the chunky green one, made from the same yarn as the chunky hat. I didn't write a pattern down, but basically you cast on 70sts, k2, p2 across and continue that patter (ribbing) until you reach the desired width of the band. I think with this one I did about 13, 14 rows. Cast off, sew up and there you have it. As you can see, mine is a little tight (I always cast off tight), but the fit is fine.
