Groovy Mom has been around for years. Since, I donno... 2000? 2001? First it was a website, then it turned into a blog. I added my crafts and Ask Momma (that is gone now, bye-bye).

Yes, Groovy Mom's got a tacky pink motif, ya, so what? I love me some pink and it's MY site, ya dig?

My site is hosted by VerveHosting and I highly recommend them. From an easy to use control panel, inexpensive hosting plans and outstanding customer support, I couldn't ask for a better host. And don't go thinking I get paid to say that, because I don't. I am perfectly happy to give props where they are due, and VerveHosting definitely deserves it.

Questions asked by others:

Is this site just for moms? No. "Momma" is a term of endearment. I call my daughter "momma" I call my friends "momma" -- doesn't matter if they're a mom or not.

How old are you? I am 33 years old. I think. I lose track.

How many kids do you have and are you married or what? I have five children, 1 cat and one husband.

How many people work on Groovy Mom? Just one. Me.

Where do you live? I live in Madison, Wisconsin.

Do you have a job? What do you do? Well, besides being a mother, ~~I have a home-based business making candles and soaps.~~ I'm an Administrative Assistant.

Who designed your site? Well, I did. I've done all the HTML, graphics and everything. I'd like to have it done professionally (or by someone with more skills than me), but it costs too darn much.

Can I blog with you on your site? Do you let people do that? No, sorry, I don't right now. I've contemplated letting other people contribute to the weblog, but at this time I am the only author.

You used to have a forum I liked it. Will you have one again? ~~Sigh... I'm not sure. I've contemplated it time and time again. I liked interacting with the other moms on the forum. We'll see. Maybe this fall.~~ YES. It's back -- go there!!

I collect pigs (not real, just piggy stuff).

I love the color pink.

Singing in the shower is one of my favorite activites.

I like to smell shampoo and conditioner before I buy it. That goes for lotions, soaps and deoderant, too.

Coffee is good. Black. Warm, but not so hot it burns my tounge.

I love, love, love office supplies, pens and such (like the hotel and business pens with the names on it.

Oh, and I love to cook, too.
