I don't think I've ever been so moved/infuriated/sad about a murder case until this one. Laci was so pretty. Every picture you saw her in had a glow about her. And for Scott Peterson to have taken her life, and her child's life, in such a manner is just unimaginable.

I can not personally understand what the hell is wrong with people! I think they should post pictures of her in his cell with baby products, and some personal things of hers, tie his hands and make him suffer until they put him in the chair. Maybe if our laws were even more strict and crimes as these severely punishable, this insane bahavior would cease to be so common.

I think that the guys who did this should be locked up and they should trow away the key I may only be 14 but I know everything that is going on.

It is horrific... and incomprehensible. My husband and I have poured over it and it just doesn't make any sense. If he wanted out... why didn't he just leave. To think in this day and age and technology and DNA and all that jazz that you can get a way with murder is so absurd. To take your wife's life and the life of your unborn child... I just don't understand. It is so sad. A sweet unborn baby's life is so worth so much more than 5 years.
Then the bastard has the balls to plead not-guilty. It is maddening. I can't wrap my mind around it.

We live about 35 miles away from Modesto and consequently have probably seen much more coverage than the rest of the country. It was nonstop for quite a while there. I have never seen someone show such little emotion in the days following as did Scott Peterson. It was truly like he didn't give a rat's ass about Laci and their son. All he was consumed with was dissolving their assests. Sounds a little like guilt to me, no?

I don't understand why Scott should have a trial. He is soooo guilty. He obvioiusly didn't care about Laci. What about torture, or burning? I think that would be ok too!

PEOPLE I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE SCREAMS GUILTY RIGHT AWAY , EVERYONE DESERVES A FAIR TRIAL THATS WHAT OUR SYSTEM WAS DESIGNED AND PLENTY OF PEOPLE GOT PUNISHED FOR WHAT THEY DIDNT DO. I've read ton and tons of books on crime and murder and by know I have become somewhat immune to how we as human beings treat each other. Somethings in life are just so sacred. For a man to take his wife, the one he promised to honour love and cherish to murder her.....and his unborn baby just boggles my mind. Wouldn't it have been easier for him to just say 'I want a divorce' If he was unhappy or fallen in love with someone else. What kind of person takes life ....and his unborn flesh and blood. And then lies and plays the poor widow.....a victim.. Did he really think he wasn't going to be caught??? What a moron. A monster. It makes me lose faith even deeper in humanity.

Has a DNA test ever confirmed that the baby Lacy was carrying was absolutely Scotts?? I am sure this must have been confirmed, since it might be a possible motive in someone doing away with Lacy Peterson but, I have never heard comment one way or another?

I cannot believe that the media has already made a self serving movie about the Peterson trial before his trial is even over. This is sick. When will people realize the manipulation that the media has over the the majority of the mindless, ignorant people in the US and just turn this crap off and listen to some music or read a book. Everyone, EVERYONE, deserves a fair trial. As for Scott Peterson, every piece of evidence points right back at him. His demeanor after the disappearance gave him away. The eyes tell it all. Look deep in his eyes they say G-U-I-L-T-Y!!

I'm willing to wait to hear all the evidence before I pass total judgment, but the evidence that has been presented is pretty daming and points the finger right back at Scott!

Perhaps the innocent, precious Conner and Lacy are much better off where they now reside.

I am so so sorry for what has happened to your daughter and unborn grandchild...I recently lost my son on april 1 of this year here in the washington dc area...and to have to watch it on the news is even more devasting.....I pray that time will heal....but Scott deserves to spend the rest of his life in jail without the chance of parole.....he needs to live the rest of his life regretting what he did behind bars......

Behind Bars? Please, he needs to die a slow and painful death. You would think that the guilt alone would eat him alive, but I guess he killed her for some reason. I think the cops should just lock him in a room and tase him until he confesses, then, when they have a confession, inject him with some slow and painful drugs so he has to suffer like Laci's parent, friends, and family had/have to.

He is guilty, there is nothing left to be said, what I don't understand is why he killed her, if he wanted out all he had to do was get a divorce, but I guess he didn't want to have to share all of their property with her, he wanted it all for him self. He is not only stupid to think that he could get away with muder, but he is stingy with their money, and thought he should keep it all for him self. instead of desolving their assets with her and getting his freedom. Everyone knows he is guilty, and if the court system doesn't find him guilty, he will not survive in society.He only has 2choices, put to death legally, or society will take care of it.Now that I think of it, that is still alot more choices than Lacy&Conner had.

Peterson will never feel any guilt for what he has done to Lacy and HER unborn son Conner. Animals like him have no feelings period. And like O.J Simpson he may get off and also like O.J. Simpson society will do nothing to Scott. He is one of the "pretty/rich people" and if you are one of those people the fact is that you can get by with murder but inside trading. What is the deal with Scott Peterson? He stares blankly in the cour room, seemingly more worried about what will happen to him than affected by his wifes' and sons' death. It is so obvious that he's guilty, I pray that he doesn't get off. Because if he gets off that will make me lose faith in our judicial system. HAve they showed Scott pictures of the remains of his wife and son? and if so, how did he react? Have law enforcement given him a lie detector test? It seems to me that if you have enough money to hire a few good lawyers that you can get away with anything. that's bulls***!!!

I cant belive scott is being carged with 1st degree murder for his wife and 2nd degree murder for the "unborn" child when it happens every day with abortions which is much worse. think of it 9 month baby in labor(which is alive) and sticking something in its head compared to 8 month baby not in labor who isnt really "living" im not saying he shouldn't be charge but thats redickulos (pardon the spelling)

Poor Scott Peterson, the police, FBI, your lawyer, news media, etc, had framed you for a murder that you did not commit. I am forensic science expert & I am the only one who can exonerate you & save your neck. Watching your court hearing made me sick because no shred of evidence against you & I can prove it.
Keep in mind that your lawyer is one of the conspirators.
