I think it's gross for one major reason. Madonna is older than my own mother, and I'm a few years older than both Britney and Christina. What can I say? Wrinkly old mom tongue just doesn't do it for me. I know it was mostly a publicity stunt, but come on.

1. If parents are worried about their kids watching this and they cant be home because they work to bring in the food to their homes, they can afford a t.v. with parental restriction controls. Also, they could ask their kids what they have been watching and explain these things to them. If children have enough guidance at home and are taught to disregard peer pressure, then they will feel no need to act like someone else, they will learn to be themselves.
