Concert Suicide Cancelled

The other day I was listening to a local talk radio show and the topic was a band that was promoting a live suicide (on stage) during their concert. Well, it was cancelled.

From the article:

"The city of St. Petersburg issued an ordinance last week making it illegal to promote a suicide for entertainment or commercial purposes, in order to stop the event from occurring."

I heard about that concert.
What a bizarre stunt. I wonder if the band REALLY felt it was neccesary to promote assisted suicide or if they just used the issue as a promotional gimmick>
And who would have gone to see it anyway????
