Maybe I am clueless but why on earth do you keep bananas in your freezer ...? Are they like those ones that are chocolate covered...?

Oh - my mom "taught" me to do that. If bananas are ripe and you can't finish them all, you can pop them in the freezer and then thaw them out to make banana bread. They look disgusting, but work fine.
We eat a lot of banana bread here ;)

My mom taught me "You learn something new every day" and I guess with this she was right... I will have to remember that tip!!!
